Easy Peezy Biscuits ‘N’ Gravy

Okay, so I know this isn’t healthy by any means, lol, but it is delicious! Being from the south there are just certain foods that are staples in the region and biscuits and gravy is one of them! (Oh how I miss Braums 😭!) Now before any family or friends badger me about this disrespectful short-cut 😄, just know and understand that it is only a quick substitution when time is not on my side!

Now my disclaimer of the products that I use still applies, but to all except for the Jimmy Dean cooked turkey sausage crumbles. That is only because I literally cant find these breakfast sausage crumbles in any other brand! For an equally good twist, substitute hash browns in place of the biscuits and top with the eggs and sausage gravy!

*The items shown are brands that I personally use, however, there is no endorsement of these products, and you may use similar products of different brands if you are unable to find them in your local store. You may also want to use organic or fresher ingredients that you must slice and dice yourself, feel free to use what you are comfortable with eating, but do not expect the same time frame for completion. Of course omitting anything that you are allergic to or do not like may or may not change the end result, but whatever you choose to do, there should be no MAJOR compromise in flavor or quality. If you have any questions about substitutions feel free to ask in the comments!

Easy Peezy Biscuits ‘N’ Gravy, Feeds 2-5

  • 1 can biscuits (5 count)
  • 1 pack peppered gravy mix
  • 2-4 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups sausage crumbles
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese

Brown crumbles in a skillet, set aside. Pop your biscuits into the oven, set timer to prevent them from burning! Season and scramble your eggs in same skillet, add cheese, turn off heat.

*Quick Tip– Butter your biscuits with melted butter before putting in the oven, or right before removing!

Prepare your gravy mix according to directions on packet, add sausage crumbles.
*Quick Tip– feel free to add additional seasoning to your gravy if it is too bland for your liking!

Take biscuits out of the oven, add cheesy eggs inside, top generously with sausage gravy!

Warm, savory, comforting, DELICIOUS!

Happy Eating!
